Should I accept a settlement offer in my Florida slip and fall case?

It depends on whether you’re comfortable, based upon your attorney’s advice, as to whether you’re getting full value from the claim. We’re always an open book as to whether we think that an insurance company or business has more money on the table to offer or whether this is the top dollar and we recommend taking it. If you’re pre-suit, you always have the extra added leverage of putting it into a lawsuit and going through the litigation process and generally, you get better results there, but if you’re deep in litigation and your attorney is recommending that you settle your case, it’s probably best served to take your attorney’s recommendation and settle the case.
